Nagpur, October 10, 2024: The South Public School successfully concluded its English Week celebrations with a grand finale event, showcasing students’ exceptional linguistic talents.
The event, held on October 10, 2024, at the school auditorium, featured an impressive array of performances, including a speech on “The Perils of Punctuation” by Aniketh Kolhekar (IV), a debate on “Social Media – Boon or Bane” by Ved Nasare (X) and Shailaja Tempe (VIII), an English Skit by Class VIII, an inspirational Song and Dance “Roar” by Classes IV and V, and Class I & II’s vivid representation of a market, fair, restaurant, and zoo, teaching students valuable life skills through interactive role-plays.
Chief Guest, Mr. Vijay Phanshikar, Chief Editor of The Hitavada, praised the students’ confidence and creativity. Shri Deaven Dasture, Director commended the students and staff for their hard work. “The English Week celebrations were a resounding success, thanks to the dedication of our students and staff,” opined Dr. Dasture, Principal.
